David

A photographer and Apple Certified professional, David first began playing dance music around age 14. Growing up to the sounds of avant garde jazz artists and classical composers played on his father’s stereo, David developed an appreciation for alternative and underground music. Having DJ’d under the name Hi.Rez on WXDU radio (Duke University), Dark Wax Radio.com, as well as weekly drum & bass parties in North Carolina, David now resides in NYC and spins house, deep house, future garage, dubstep and downtempo. He and fellow Medlin’ DJ Dylan Holgan spent summer 2009 doing a Sunday weekly house music event at The Empire Hotel’s Rooftop lounge. Currently David produces a monthly house music podcast for Medlin Kidz.
